Mohamed Khan, the CEO of Eduemy, is an Honors Grad in Computer Science and Applied Math from the University of Toronto, with a distinguished Information Systems Professional (I.S.P) designation from the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS).
As a veteran Software Engineering Professor and academic leader, Professor Mohamed Khan served for nearly four decades, making significant contributions to the Centennial College School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science. His expertise in Software Systems Design Architecture, curriculum development, industry partnerships, and student mentorship positioned him as a key force in bridging academic excellence with real-world employment outcomes for students. He also pioneered and successfully launched a Business and Entrepreneurship Course for Software Engineers for students in their final year at the College, a first in the GTA region.
In addition to his role at Centennial College, Mohamed spent concurrently 20 years as a part-time professor at TMU (formerly Ryerson University), where he enriched the learning experiences of countless students in the field of software engineering. He also dedicated five years as a Placement Facilitator for the Information Communication Technology Council (ICTC), helping ICT-trained immigrants integrate into the Canadian workforce.
For two decades, Mohamed also sub-contracted as the ICT Program Coordinator for Continuing Education at Centennial College. His leadership in this role was instrumental in providing accessible, cutting-edge education to industry professionals, earning him the prestigious Award of Excellence from the Department of Part-Time Studies.
He is the founder and driving force behind three major project initiatives under Eduemy Software Systems Inc.: College Cornerstone, an AI-powered student employment referral platform for the Hidden job market; Freedom House, an affordable modular housing ecosystem connecting landowners, builders, eco-professionals, and home seekers; and the SMHS , a holistic platform supporting the mental, social, and spiritual wellbeing of seniors through community-centered engagement.
In recognition of his innovation and student-community impact, he was honored with the Award of Excellence from the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities for conceiving and developing Collegecornerstone, a novel pathway to graduate employment and advancing student success through technology-driven solutions.
